Seven St. Georges Tavern, Cyprus

I just had one of my best meals out, ever. It's hard to find good, plentiful vegetarian food.

At Seven St. Georges in Cyprus we paid one price per person and we received all we could eat and drink. It was up to us to say when we were ready for dessert.

Everything was local and organic and it was no problem for them to accommodate our vegetarian diet.

I've been eating very carefully for 12 weeks so I felt like I could have been satisfied after the first course. But everything was delicious and I was curious to see what they would bring next so we pressed on for I don't know how many small courses.

To start we had warm, homemade bread with many different toppings...cheese, garlic spread, potato salad, carrot salad, yoghurt, etc. Then we had eggs and spinach, black-eyed peas, and countless vegetable dishes ranging from carrots to taro root. Dessert was amazing. Kenny got some funny dish that had something to do with sugared orange rind. Sophia got date pudding (more like cake) with caramel sauce and I got chocolate pudding (again like cake). I ate too much and now I don't feel well, but we will definitely go back before our stay is over.
