Sophie got to do all kinds of fun things for Easter. She could hardly wait to get dressed in her new blue dress and matching headband. Her Easter basket contained a pink pony. She had been asking for a girl pony to replace the boy pony she's been sleeping with since she was a baby. Her boy pony triggers her to suck her fingers, so I'm hoping we can say goodbye to him for good. After opening her Easter basket we went out in the desert to take some pictures. We were lucky to find some flowers blooming. After the photo shoot we headed off to church where Sophie played with her new art set. She used the scissors to cut up all kinds of tiny pieces of paper. Maybe next time I'll let her take her glue stick so all of the little pieces could at least stick together. We colored eggs after lunch and had our own little hunt at the park outside our fence. In the close up of Sophie you might notice her bruised and swollen nose from her fall on the playground last week. She's an adventurer that likes to wear pretty dresses!
