Sophia Update - Spanish Class Graduation

For the last couple of months Sophie has been going to Spanish class every Monday morning. One of the other lawyer's wives teaches for a very minimal amount. Sophie seems to be picking up a few words. The teacher is leaving for the summer, so this week we had a graduation party. Sophie had a great time hanging out with friends, eating messy snacks, getting her awards, and looking through her portfolio.

Sophia Update - Peter Pan Party

Sophie went to a Peter Pan birthday party today. We went to two malls looking for a costume for her to wear and couldn't come up with anything this time of year. So, she just got a Tinkerbell hat and t-shirt. I don't usually dress her in character clothing so she thought it was fun to go around with girls on her clothes.

She was in pretty good spirits today in spite of her daddy being deployed. She played nicely while I assembled a bookshelf and rearranged the closet the bookshelf goes into. She had a wonderful time playing with friends at the birthday party. We have been off of our normal schedule so I think she's glad to get back to familiar people and places.

She lost it just before bedtime, unfortunately while I was trying to talk to Kenny. She has a runny nose so I guess she was sick and tired and not going to cooperate any more. She's sleeping nicely now. Thank goodness!
