Sophie got to go to Colorado to visit her Nagy Apa. We drove, and she well in the car. We can usually distract her with They Might Be Giants music or snacks. We had a nice visit. Nagy Apa hadn't seen her since last Spring and she has gone from a baby to a little girl in a year. He was impressed with her because she's a good eater. He commented that it was nice to come home from a restaurant and not have to fix her a different meal. She crawls up steep hills and goes on long walks. She's starting to repeat what we say. Kenny told her that it was so nice to have a happy baby, and she repeated happy. Then she said happy baby. So, we'll have a little chatterbox on our hands before we know it.
She's gotten a little funny around other kids. We were at the playground this evening and she was happy playing on the equipment as long as nobody else was there. If another kid got on she would yell an alarm...ehh. If they got too close she would get frantic. Don't know what to do about that. She's like Kicsi. When unfamiliar dogs come close to Kicsi she yaps at them. Her trainer said that since she's small that's her way of telling them to back off. Maybe Sophie has the same instinct. Who knew my girls would behave the same way!
